Happens regularly -- the person then comes to the forums and asks the very same question. If you are downloading GPX files and they show up without the descriptions/hints, etc., it is because that you probably had loaded LOC files on the unit previously. This causes the data of the GPX files to revert to LOC format. Delete any and all geocaching files existing within the unit (GPX and LOC). Load up new (GPX) files and all should be fine. Premium Member (GPX) files and Regular Member (LOC) files do not play well together. You cannot have them co-existing in the unit. Quote Link to comment
