On the map page, I can no longer remove my finds from the map. The filters for cache types function as before, only the "my finds" and "own caches" don't trigger a filter action anymore.

Have also seen this a few weeks back. Had to restart Firefox and navigate back to gc.com in order to get it under control. Some kind of Java issue, perhaps? I seem to recall seeing this if Javascript was disabled, too.

JavaScript should indeed be enabled (are you using NoScript or something similar?) or it won't work.

 

Java is completely different from JavaScript. (For security, Java should be permanently disabled in your browser.)

if javascript was disabled wouldn't both filters (cachetypes and finds) stop working?

Likely so. I abandoned the attempt once I found that I was unable to remove my finds and hides from the list. Didn't bother going further.

on a windows 7 machine with firefox 49.0.1 the problem remains however
