After scoring a find on The Portal, Mr. Trovamo and I were the unfortunate witnesses to why this guy is called "Snake." And we thought it had something to do with the Chinese Calendar! B)

These next two shots are across the Santa Ana's on our way to The Lost Benchmark cache. Incredibly, within about 60 minutes after taking these shots, the rain really started coming down. B)

I'd love to PhotoShop the muffler guy into a pair of fishnet hose but I just can't find an image source that's safe for work! Even with Google's safe image search on, I get some wild stuff. I dare ya to turn it OFF!

I'm not even counting my work load today either. :D

There's a "safe search" feature? ;) :D

If you want a daring Photoshop challenge then 'shop $kimmer into fishnet stockings.

Come to think of it I have a photo of $kimmer from a few years back wearing a very short western skirt and looking ever-so trick.

Don't even ask, I'm brave enough to show Mr. The Vulture with his Willie hanging out but when it comes to photos of $kimmer I'm very, very sensible.

That 'shopped photo of the Muffler Man turned out well didn't it? I'm getting hooked on the spotlight effect. I considered replacing the muffler with a Garmin 60CS.

By the way Dan-oh, if it weren't for your two blankety-blank caches yesterday we would have made it to thirty finds. Thanks a lot fella, where did you get the idea that old people can bend over for a find?.

By the way, allow me to formally introduce team Clari-netacache, Dave and Bonnie, to all of you San Diego Forum denizens. They too are part of our Rowdy square-dance, round-dance, and Geocaching pals and so are officially open to any and all remarks and abuse that happens to come their way on forum threads.

Do feel free to pick on them. Tell 'em I said it's o.k. for you to do so.

Bonnie is just plain nuts and Dave is a retired pharmacist that provides us oldies with Geocaching performance-enhancing drugs. You know, pills that keep our old hearts beating and that allow us to have normal bowel movements now and then.

Don't laugh, your day is coming.

Finally captured the Geocaching banner photo of Robyn on a ledge near Moab. Ain't she rugged ? Careful girl, don't touch that damp spot at the tip of the ledge.

What do you mean? It was easy to get them to tag along. They even have their own caching accounts now:

Kaching Kristin
Mrs. Rocket Man

I don't know how that happened. ;)

This Just In (Not) Actually, this is from a couple of years ago.

On our Moab trip I was telling Splashman and Splashette that the next time they are in Page Arizona on one of their Lake Powell trips, they had to check out Antelope Canyon. I would highly encourage anyone else traveling to the area to check it out also. It is one of the coolest places I have ever seen.

There are two separate canyons, Lower Antelope Canyon and Upper Antelope Canyon. Make sure you check them both out.

While you're at it, you should go back and log all the caches they've done with you in the past! B)

The canyon is beautiful. Is there a cache nearby I can watch so when I head to Arizona I know where to head?

Here is a map of the area showing caches. The camera icon that says Antelope is where you turn off/park to go to the canyons. The lower canyon is on the North side of 98 and the upper canyon is on the South side of 98. The Navajo charge you to go into either of the canyons, but it is well worth it.

Why, for your sartorial expertise of course. I can recall the time when your unbunched socks got busted by the Sandy Creek Cowboys. Just look at you now ... no wait, just look at your socks now. :D

That photo wasn't taken in Colorado!  The monkey is now on your back!!!  ;)

Darn Pat - Can't you keep it to yourself?

BTW: What cache is that photo from?

The photo is posted in this forum....

By the way, it gets soooo cold in Colorado that you're gonna have to pull those white socks over your head!

If he'd wound up in Arkansas instead of Colorado, no problem ... no shirts, no shoes, no socks.

It's Alabama but that's the same difference.
Anyhow, Harmon I wrote that as a hint to you for to make a funny Photoshop rendition of Dave in snowy CO with his socks pulled up to his head! ;)

That is pretty scary!
Reminds me of a TV show I used watch all the time as a kid.
Do any of you remember a show called "Land of the Giants"?
