How are you viewing it on your PDA? Cachemate? If so, that program only has text but the hints are there. In fact, I think ALL ways of transferring to PDA bring the hints in some form or another.

As far as the rest; I believe if you have Mobipocket or download it in some reader form you get the pictures and layout of the cache page as seen online. But I might be wrong.

As far as pictures...why not save the images to a folder and name then something to make you remember what cache they go with. Then get a picture viewing software...one comes with most Palm devices nowadays, and upload them to that program. That would even work with maps if you wanted it to.

I am to support GC.com so I can continue to enjoy it in the future :(

a downloadable zip file of the pqs belonging image gallery would be much cooler. the images are still downsized to 300 by nn pixels on the servers. they only had to be renamed spoilersync like. that would be a great pm enhancement. especially for european cachers. the download itself could restricted to server nice times. i even would pay an extra 10 dollars for this say »premium plus« membership.

happy hunting - the old fashioned way (trads only, exceptions may appear)

As HHL already said, a zip-file containing the spoiler images (downsized to whatever fits best) to the caches one received with the PQ would be great.

I wonder, why this was not implemented yet, as it seems to be the most wanted feature (at least here in germany).

As far as i can see there would be no excuse to anyone who still uses spider-software.

I think it would not be necessary to send all pictures along with the GPX-File,

it would be fine, to give a list with the URL, so that you may download the relevant

pictures "automatically" - if you need them.

And it should be differentiated between "important" pictures, uploaded with the cache description and nice pictures (in the log).

People should be allowed to get those pictures by a daemon.

Sometimes the GC page is very busy, and if you have a lame connection, you are in trouble waiting, aborting, trying again.

I also think that it is not necessary to implement the images in the gpx file.

It could be an addon just like the ebook files.

When you create your pocket querie, you can decide if you want to get the IMPORTANT images (not from the logs).

Then you will receive a zip archive with the images in there.

This would be very nice if it would be at the top of the requested list :-)

Greetings

Sven

Same goes for me, I would LOVE this feature of a download with PQ and pictures and would be willing to pay extra for that.

How do you get a computer to automatically choose only the relevant pictures?

How about attaching the first picture in the listing with a caption containing the word "SPOILER". Don't know how to give it a unique name when downloading up to 500 listings though.

Several times I have encountered listings that have real bad hints and even worse coordinates. But the spoiler picture does the trick. Unforunately it was not in my PDA. It sucks after driving 200km's comming home seeing the spoiler; yes I passed that, dang. :)

I still don't see why a picture is necessary when you can give a text hint. Maybe only in special cases where you include a picture of a particular rock, but I haven't come across many cases (actually, none that I can think of) where words wouldn't work in place of a picture. I don't know how many hints I've decrypted in the field that read something like, "see attached spoiler photo" only to get home and see that the hider posted a picture of a light pole to the cache page. Or, even worse, images that contain text hints. :o

Hi Jeremy

You are changing the site and there are thouts about a opportunytie to get data without spidering. Is there in the moment something going one how to get the pictures on a easy way on the a palm. Like a extra bookmarklist for picture from some caches ore something like that.
