Let's use this thread to share bookmark lists specifically in the Northeast. Please add yours.
I saw it in another regional forum and thought it was a good idea.

Pennsylvania's Favorite Caches

While it's technically a bookmark list under my account, input was taken from this thread and folks from all over PA nominated their favorite caches. The list encompasses most of the state and contains caches of all types, so everyone is certain to find something they will enjoy.

Good Views Northern NJ

Not exhaustive or exclusive, these are only the ones I have completed that have good views or unique viewpoints. Harry Dolphin and Andy Bear have some excellent view caches on the Hudson River , but they haven't made my list yet as I haven't found them.

I looked at my email WatchList today, and remembered again about this thread that I posted.

I said to myself how sad it was that no one had replied to this thread yet. I guess no one liked the idea, since no replies had come in via email. So, I figured what the heck: *I* like the idea. I would post another bookmark list. So, off I go to this Forum, and look.

Voila! Replies! I guess the Forum subscription code isn't working so well, eh?

Thanks for the replies so far! And for those forthcoming!

You've got a friend in Pennsylvania!

These are some of the recurring events around Pennsylvania. Some repeat monthly. Some are annual events.

I started putting together a list of caches near abandonded railroad stuff.
Slowly I started added other historic things, like canals and then old building foundations.
I would love to see some links and book marks to other old train & railroad artifacts, and old foundations and ruins.
If you have anything to contribute please do. Finding old ruins and foundations is one of the things that make Geocaching so interesting for me.
Thanks

Pinning thread. Please confine your posts to just links and descriptions of bookmark lists that include caches in the Northeast Region. If someone wants to discuss one specific list, or a cache on a bookmark list, please start a separate thread. As a pinned thread, this will be closely moderated so that only the useful reference posts will appear here. If it becomes too much work, I'll unpin it.

My Covered Bridge Tours in PA, NY, CT and VT involving driving and hiking. Some tours have containers at the end. Other tours are strictly virtuals to drive from one to the other for those rainy/snowy days you'd rather not be hiking.

There are a lot of great scenic views in Pennsylvania, the goal of this list is to highlight caches that take you to them.

I started a bookmark list of all the caches located near or along the North Country Trail System.
It is still under construction and with other cachers input, I hope to have a fair amount of caches covering MI, PA, OH, NY.

I hope this is the correct place to post. My daughters school won the Creative ticket award given by the Kennedy Center for the Arts and part of this honor was an invitation to perform on the Millenium Stage in Washingotn DC. I was wondering if anyone had a boookmark of caches near touristy places in DC. I know alot of them are virtuals but I would love to be able to grab at least a couple while up there. Thanks so much!

If you go to The Mall, you have to visit the west side. If you can, go at night. It is absolutely beautiful. Here is a bookmark list I found for the west end of The Mall.

http://www.geocaching.com/bookmarks/view.a...f4-56302f7993fb

The museums are down on the east end though, so it is a tough choice.

Here is a great list by JPatton of caches near Metro stations.

http://www.geocaching.com/bookmarks/view.a...80-ebdbdf05e04c

Here is another list. I need to put one together for my favorites in DC!

I have some night shots on my site, but I need to add some. I will try to add some additional shots tonight, but here is a link to my page. I have some great shots of the Vietnam Wall that I have not posted yet.

Hybrid Bike Caches

Near AT trail in NY

Long Path Caches

Street Motorcycle Caches

I just started caching just before the winter started. hopefully my bookmark lists, especially the bike and motorcycle ones will grow once it gets a tad warmer.
