This is one of the best places there is to buy geocoins. The individual manufacurers are another good place to look. The auction site sells alot of coins, but prices are nearly always higher. Check back here often and post if you're looking for one in particular. Welcome to Groundspeak!

Also check these places:

geoswag.com
geocoinstore.com
hogwildstuff.org
thecachingplace.com
coinsandpins.com
crakephoto.com

Those above stores always have geocoins available to buy and some really nice ones too. Sign up for the newsletters or emails and then you will get emails when new coins go on sale.

Also check out www.cointracking.com lots of individuals have coins from their extras for sale there.

Welcome to the addiction......um I mean hobby! :P

This can quickly turn into a place for everyone to post links to their sales (though I'm tempted!). How about just heading over to http://cachebug.blogspot.com/ and checking out the sites listed and you can also get the dirt on all of the new designs in the works!

bargain bin geocoinstore.com trackable Geocoins priced at $5.00 or under (well none right now under 5 but we are hoping to see this! ahh the good old days)
crake coins are gorgeous and good value
hogwildstuff.org smaller coins reasonably priced, great quality - often has great bargains of late!

I'm looking for the 2007 Dragonfly Geocoin Sun Catcher in Antique Silver/Green. Does anyone know where I can find this coin? I'd love to buy it but can't find it.

you can also get a good deal from time to time on eBay
it will take some time and some effort and some luck (and some bandwith)

some very reaonable grab-bag auctions turn up every now and then

do your research, to be sure of what you are getting
looking at the prices for closed auctions can be educational

pay little or no attention to "buy it now" prices, especially when the auction is for a long duration
these are frequently only what a seller hopes they might get, and often bear no relation to reality

look for "trackable" and "unactivated"
if these are not mentioned, assume that the opposite is true

if you really want something that you see, and have any doubts, contact the seller, and do not bid untill you get a specific answer

and (probably most important, if you are trying to save money), don't get caught up in the competitive nature of an auction - decide on a maximum price that you are willing to pay before you start, and stick to it
