rokclmb
Is there any way for the owner of a cache to view who's watching or has bookmarked their caches? Link to comment
+gof1
There is no way to view who is watching your cache. As for bookmarks, if they are public bookmarks they will be listed on the cache page. if they are private bookmarks you can't view them. Link to comment
+Markwell
From here... Who's Watching My Cache Is there any way to find out who is watching my cache? Currently, no. The closest approximation you can get is to post a note to the cache page and the watchers will all receive it as an e-mail. If you ask them to respond and they choose to, you'll get an idea of who's watching. See Jeremy's thoughts on the subject. Link to comment
+Kryten
The watch counter no longer serves a useful purpose since those chosing to watch a cache via a private bookmark list can do so without contributing to the displayed value. It should be removed. Link to comment

It should be removed. That's interesting. I removed most of the caches from my watchlist and moved them into private bookmark lists so that I could sort them, or selectively turn them on or off to control the amount of email I receive. I'm sure many others have done the same. I never thought about it affecting the count on the cache page. Link to comment

Maybe its a joke? The uses purpose is helping come up with 'Some Pointless Numbers' Link to comment
+StarBrand
Joke Now lost because I had to explain it. Pointless except for pointless statistics based on it. However that little exercise kind of pointed out that more people tend to use watchlists then bookmarks....... Link to comment
