I did the tutorial. I "think" i am done, but nothing happens to let me know I am done. Is there a "congratualtions you are done" notice? The only thing left is launch the spaceship and nothing seems to happen when I try that. Thanks for any help.

It depends on how the cartridge was programmed. For the tutorial, it'll tell you the completion code, at which point you are finished.

Amazingly, I can speak from experience on this one, at least from my Colorado's point of view. :D I initially played the Wherigo cartridge provided on the Colorado, called Wherigo Tutorial. I played it backwards and forwards, up and down, and around the block once or twice just for good measure. Seemingly I would complete it, but never once did I get a completion code. (I think I know all the permutations about that game!) So, I elected to upload the finished game just to see what would happen -- it it unlocked itself online. That was nice.

But it still bugged me :D that I could never get that darn code to appear, and I figured there must be a way to get it. So I download the online version, this one called Wherigo Player Tutorial. I played it just once and when I thought I was finished, there was the elusive completion code.

So, I think it depends on which version you have. It was nice to have that visible, in my hand symbol that I was done. If you want that, download the one online and play it, then enter the completion code. If not, just upload the completed cartridge and it will magically unlock. :o

I uploaded the cartridge and it looked like where I was uploading was NOT the correct place and nothing happened. I finally just logged the thing and called it quits. Where I was uploading looked like where you might upload "new" cartridges. What happens when it unlocks?? How would I know if that had happened? on the Colorado or on the website? Thanks for all everyones help on this!

For either the Colorado or Pocket PC, you'll have a GWS file (it means "Groundspeak Wherigo Save"). Those of you who don't see file extensions might have a hard time picking it out since there will be either two or three files with the same name. It's the last one in the list.

Next, go to the Wherigo site and find the cartridge you just completed. Click on the "Unlock" image on the left side. Choose Option 1 and click the link "Upload your save game". Follow those instructions and you'll be able to upload the GWS file.
