Cactus Attribute

It's listed under the Hazards section, first one in the section, above Poison Plants.

Perhaps it was just added for the geocache GC14Q3M that is placed in the middle of a bunch of cactus, right outside Geo-woodstock.. :D

(really, right on the road in front of geowoodstock)

Not when I try and find it! "Dangerous Area" is above Poison Plants. I can't see a cactus attribute at all, the closest I can find is "Thorns".

Edited to say you're right! I changed my dummy cache to a CITO and it appeared. Interestingly, I added the attribute then changed the type back to traditional and it stayed there. However when I went to Edit Attributes there was no way I could remove it. :D

Cactus as a hazard apparently only applies to CITO events. I fooled with a cache page, and that's the only cache type that can have a Cactus hazard. And Meet and Greet Events don't get to have ANY hazards.

Interesting...

I noticed that with Events as well, when I was trying to find the cactus hazard. It don't have any current CITOs up right now, so I couldn't test it. That's interesting.

The cactus hazard has been removed and the hazards have been re-added for event pages. Thanks for pointing this out. Unless people lobby for the cactus hazard to return we'll leave that off the list.

When you live and cache in AZ....it's a bit of a given... :)

Saguaro National Monument? East side of Tucson maybe?

That could have been outside my house...

Saguaros don't just grow in National Monuments named for them, you know.

Just don't trying that with a Teddy Bear Cholla......

Tried it (accidentally). When my brother lived in Arizona. Spent the afternoon with pliers and leather gloves. ;) Learned a lot about the desert that day...

While they do grow a lot of places in southern AZ. I was correct in where it was taken. With a little more thought I could tell you where on the loop drive that one is. I practically grew up in that area. I did grow up in Tucson. B)
