I'm going to assume you only have the Mapsend software that comes with the GPSr. And I see you are not a Premium Member, so my instructions are based on those parameters.
1. On each page you will see a button that says LOC waypoint file. Go to each page and download the LOC file to a folder on your computer. 2. Attach the GPSr to the computer with its USB cable and switch it on (watch the screen and hit enter when it tells you to or it will turn itself off). 3. Start Mapsend. 4. Drag and Drop each LOC files into Mapsend. 5 You will see a list on the right hand side of your screen. Once all have been loaded to the software click on the save file button (diskette icon) and choose GPS unit. A save box will pop up and allow you to change the file name if you wish. Choose OK. Now disconnect your GPSr. Hit will beep and say External Power Lost, hit enter and it will turn off. When you turn it on you will need to go into the menu and (if I remember correctly since my 500 that replaced my 210 is different) go into Preferences, choose Active Map (this is what you are looking for if it isn't in the Preferences folder), scroll down to Geocaches and hit enter, click Select File, scroll to highlight the file you just created and hit enter. When the unit locks on the satalites you should see the caches on your map. With the LOC file you will get Name, GC #, Owner, and coords. If you were a Premium Member you could set up a Pocket Querry that would email you up to 500 caches at one time, then you can drag one file to the Mapsend. However the 210 cannot read more than 200 waypoints in one file. I have a bunch of files with only 200 in each so that I can keep all of the caches in Tennessee in my 500. I also use a Program called Geocaching Swiss Army Knife to manage them all and create the files automaticall for me. This post has been edited by jeffbouldin: Mar 7 2009, 04:19 PM |

Look at a cache page, just under the coordinates you will see a button that says LOC Waypoint File. When you click on that it downloads a file that contains the coordinates, name, GC#, and Cache Owner name.
