+MAKCachers
We have a new Nuvi 500. Everything works great, and we have found about two dozen geocaches so far. Can't figure out how to delete them after we mark them as found. (Using send to GPS - sends great info, and we really like it.) Quote Link to comment
+StarBrand
When hooked to your computer - go into the [drive]:\garmin\gpx folder on the device and remove the GPX files you do not want anymore. Quote Link to comment

+g-o-cashers
Where To? - Favorites - [select a waypoint] - edit - delete. To delete enmasse, go to My Data. This deletes Waypoints not Geocaches. You need remove the gpx files as Starbrand indicated. Quote Link to comment

I tried that... it did not work. I do have a Mac tho... so things might be different? I have gone into the garmin folder and into the gpx file... and there they were! I can delete them by "trashing them" and they do disappear from the computer... zip gone.... HOWEVER.... they are still on the nuvi 500... all of them! I have done this 3 diff. times... all the old ones are no longer in the computer "Mac" gpx files... nothing but the new ones (not deleted) are on that file. again.... however.... every one of the gpx files are still on the nuvi 500. HELP Now the nuvi says I have too many geo caches on to erase some! HELP Ralph Gould Picnic42 Quote Link to comment
+Red90
On a MAC...... You need to go and empty the trash as well..... It is a MAC problem.... Make sure you have the latest firmware. This was a problem with Colorados and was repaired in a firmware release. It may have been addressed in the Nuvis as well, not sure. Quote Link to comment
