VERSION 3.0 -------------------------------- -Added a photo gallery to geocaches. -Added attribute data to geocaches. -Added the option to have map rotate to match your heading. (iPhone 3GS only) -Added indications of Premium, Inactive, and Found caches. -Maps you view are now cached on the device automatically. -All basic info for geocache's you view is cached on the device automatically. -Added the option to sort lists by the order they were saved. -An embedded web browser has been added for viewing web pages. -------------------------------- VERSION 2.3.1 -------------------------------- This update fixes the Search by Address/Postal Code feature. -------------------------------- VERSION 2.3 -------------------------------- -Support for the 3Gs compass has been added. -You can auto-publish a field note to a log. -The number of trackables in a cache is now visible on the cache list. -A series of bugs caused some cache's data to be lost, even if it had been saved. These bugs have been fixed. -The difficulty and terrain ratings for caches are no longer rounded down in some cases. -Search by Address now works for any type of address. Before, it had issues with non-U.S. addresses. -------------------------------- VERSION 2.2 -------------------------------- This is a bug-fixing update to fix the issues user were having with version 2.1 such as: -Usernames with special characters are now working again. -The memory management of the app has been improved to help prevent it from being unloaded automatically for running out of memory. -The crash-on-startup issues that occurred after downloading a lot of pocket queries are fixed. -The app is no longer slowed down as significantly by downloading many pocket queries. If you continue to have problems with your install of the app, try a full delete and reinstall from the app store. In most cases, this clears up any issues you might be having. -------------------------------- VERSION 2.1 -------------------------------- -Three map types are now available: street, topographic, and satellite. -For each map type, the source of the maps can be selected (under Settings). -Custom waypoints can be added to the navigation map, making multi-caching possible. -Your active pocket queries can be downloaded to your device and accessed while you are offline. -The user interface has been updated to integrate the new features. I've still got version 2.3.1 on my iPhone. When will version 3 be available? It would be nice with maps that rotate with the heading.

Nobody knows. It's all up to Apple to approve it. It usually takes a few weeks. This is the one downside to the App Store.
