GeoBeacon & Garmin's ANT+ adapter for iPhone

I have ordered Garmin's ANT+ adapter for the iPhone and will be testing out GeoBeacon soon. I will post the results here. I have been searching the web, asked Jeremy on Facebook, and tweeted @Garmin but no one has an answer for me yet.

I'm hoping it will work just as well as Wahoo Fitness ANT+ adapter since it is around $80 and Garmin's adapter is $40.

I tested the iPhone GeoBeacon software with Garmin's ANT+ dongle. It does not work with GeoBeacon.

Not surprised. Garmin doesn't advertise Chirp compatibility for the adapter.

I also ordered one and tried testing it with the iPhone & GeoBeacon. Unfortunately, Garmin's ant+ does not operate with it currently. Would certainly increase the use of chirp's to get a cheap option out there.

Would increase use of chirps to get a cheap option out there? Not in any amounts that would be profitable to Garmin.
