Caching in China GPS rental in Beijing, China

A fellow cacher and I will be with a group spending time in Beijing between April 12-23. We will be leaving during that time to travel 500 miles ESE where GPS's are forbidden, so we cannot even bring one along. Does anyone know if Beijing may have an electronics store that rents GPS's for our use in China???
