Hello,

I know there are quite a few of these questions on here so apologies in advance, the ones I've read seem to get quite technical so here is what I'm looking for.....

Currently using my HTC Desire with c:geo which is great - love the interface, easy to use - not great under tree cover and sucks the battery dry in about an hour which is very frustrating. So what I'm looking for is a GPS unit that's pretty much the same but with better coverage and a longer battery life. We've tried the etrex10 but I found that too clunky so I'm guessing we're looking at £100 to £250 for a unit.

a top three would be great to compare :)

Thanks :)

Check out the DeLorme PN40 or the Garmin Etrex 20
