I am having trouble making PQ's cross state borders. Have tried making PQ of caches along a route. If the route crosses a state border, it only shows caches on one side of the border. Have also tried PQ of caches within a radius of somewhere. Only getting caches on either one or the other side of the border. Does anyone know what I mean? And have an answer?

Have you chosen a specific state in your PQ criteria? If you don't want it limited to one particular state, select "None Selected" just above the country selection.

Yeah, you're definitely doing something wrong checking the boxes. I live 10 miles from another Country, Canada, (actually a little under 7 miles as the crow flies), and I get Canadian caches in a query of my 500 closest. Always have if I wanted to, but I just ran one 2 mintues ago to make sure nothing has changed, and I'm still getting them.

I routinely restrict my caches by state to maximize my available PQ limit. If you want more, try copying the "cach along route" parameters to a separate queiry and change the copy to restrict to s different state.

You can not select states when building a PQ based on a route, (CAAR).

I just built a PQ based on a route I had uploaded a few years ago. Barstow, CA to Las Vegas, NV. It showed caches in both states.

You're absolutely correct! In that case, maybe there are several unrelated problems here. A state-selection problem for the standard PQs, and some other problem for the CAAR PQs.

I have a similar situation to Mr.Yuck, in that I live in Canada, but very close to the US. I always select "Canada" under the country selection so I don't get caches across the border. For me to cross the border would involve taking one of several ferries (which aren't cheap), so caching in the US isn't part of my regular caching. For that reason, I don't want or need any US caches coming up in my PQs.

Edit for spelling
