Hello everyone, I've been caching for about 2 weeks now, and I see these different caches that have stuff they have to do in order to find them like GC3AXCK where apparently you need some water to find it, I was wondering where I might find some information on the different things people do with their caches like this one. I don't know what I am suppose to do, and I really only started caching because of the GPS my father bought, so I don't really have someone to talk to about these kinds of things. I tried searching the forums but I couldn't find anything because i wasn't sure what to look for. Thanks for the help.

Hi! And welcome to the hobby! We just FTFd your first cache a couple of nights ago, and you are off to a good start!
Would highly recommend you search for a variety of caches to see what kinds of creative things people do...the ideas are endless! Look for caches that have some favorite points (although there are MANY MANY really excellent caches out there with no favs!). The more caching you do, the more ideas you will see. There are also some videos online you can check out to see what people are doing. (can't recommend or not recommend these as we've not watched any!).
Make sure you put events on your notification list, especially ones near your home coords. The High Desert GeoCachers (HDGC) are a pretty active group and we do get together once a month or so for an event or just to chat. Check out the HDGC webpage for more info on the group.
And, again, welcome!
