Help
Has anyone experienced this problem and if so is there a solution?
With my etrex 30 connected to the computer in mass storage mode some geocaches will not delete from the gpx folder and continue to appear on the gps in offline mode. I am using Windows xp.

Its a hunch but maybe your trash can needs emptying. I have a Mac so I'm guessing this could be the problem as on Mac it defaults to leaving the files behind after deletion.
I an see no other reason why they would show up. Try deleting all the gpx files after backing them up see if they are gone then and empty trash before removing GPS from PC.

Are they by any chance part of a route that you have loaded? If so you can't delete them until you delete the route.

Thanks for the suggestions guys but neither solve the problem. I will email Garmin but I don't hold out any hope.

Have you checked your gpx folder to ensure there are no stray gpx files?
