So I just bought a Magellen eXplorist GC and I can't seem to get it to work right. I downloaded the software on to my Mac for it from the website and now when I go to download the caches onto it, it only does one if I am lucky! Any idea what I might be doing wrong? I am getting frustrated enough I am thinking about just returning this dadgum thing!! Thanks in advance for any help!!

The easiest thing to do is use pocket queries and then drag and drop the resulting .gpx file.

Redwoods Mtn Biker is exactly right. With the Magellan Communicator for the Mac your only going to be able to download one cache as a time. However, being a Premium Member you can create and download a GPX containing as many as 1000 caches. Once you've downloaded the pocket query to your computer, make sure to uncompress (Zip) it and then copy the .gpx (Pocket Query) file to the Geocache directory on the GPS. Then you can unplug the unit from your computer and it will automatically load the cache when it boots up. Your GC will allow you to have as many as 10 of the GPX file containing up to 10,000 geocaches. However, I recommend keeping the number down to around 3,000 to 4,000 caches.

If you need any more assistance, please feel free to email me at Zukicacher@gmail.com
