iphone app problem can not connect

Evening,
I downloaded the app to my Iphone this afternoon. I am unable to login. I continue to receive the following:
No Network Connection
There was an issue connecting to Geocaching.com. Please try again.

All I can do is acknowledge the error

Any suggestions from the group?

Have been away from this for a while, getting back into it.
