If you post a GC code where you've seen it, that might help.

Could be a local thing... Without seeing it,and knowing the area, it's difficult to even try to guess.

According to the Urban Dictionary it can mean several things that may fit in with a caching log:
Puh: General disinterest in the topic/subject.
Puh: Unpleasant place or smell.
Puh: A replacement for a swear word in written text.
Puh: Female genitals (although I'm sure it's not this one!)

[snip]

That was going to be my guess. I'm not sure where I've seen it used, but it seemed to me that it was basically a synonym for "meh."

Probably not related, but I was puzzled by the use of "HU" in logs until I found out it meant "hint used".

Maybe they're sloppy typers. U is close to & and G is beside H, maybe they mean P&G, which is Park & Grab.

B.

At least two in this one: GC44QET - from people in the logs.
I didn't ask directly because I thought it was a new common term that wasn't on the terminology list.

Have you noticed that the cacher who uses "Puh" in her logs goes by the name "Smoothpuh?" My guess is that she uses it as an abbreviated signature.
