Maaaan, I was just in the middle of writing up a cache page and all the data was lost!

Guess that serves me right for not having a backup.

Still..... :(

This is probably too late to help you, but... Some browsers (Firefox for sure) will keep your data, and will re-populate the form if you simply hit Back. Still have the error message open in a tab?

 

A while ago I complained that this data-saving stopped working with the new (complicated-by-Markup) cache log entry form, but magically somehow, that's no longer the case. (It's too easy to accidentally bump the mouse's Back button while composing an opus.) If it was Groundspeak who fixed that, many thanks!

 

the team is investigating what the underlying cause might have been.
