+GOT GPS? Posted July 21, 2003 Share Posted July 21, 2003 I can download data from the GPS units okay(MeriPlat), but can no longer convert to a PCX track or waypoint file in G7ToWin any more. What I have been doing is converting Meriplat tracklogs to Garmin Mapsource via G7Towin. Works okay on my home computer, with an older copy of G7ToWin, but not on my Laptop with the latest copy of G7ToWin. When I convert the TXT file in G7ToWin to a PCX Tracklog file, it beeps an error at me. The SAVE AS menu no longer shows PCX in the file types no more. Is there an easier way to get Magellan GPS Data ported over to Garmin Mapsource???? Strange, but the tracklogging from the Meridian Platinum was crapy anyway. This was on a 737 to Tampa Florida from Detroit.
