Whats in your backpack

I take a backpack with me when I go out in the woods. It was a closeout at Wal-mart and only cost a few bucks but it has come in handy many times. Today I was loading a few things into it

and was wondering what everyone else carries with them... Maybe there are a few good ideas out there

so Let us know what your carrying.

I have the following

Large Zip lock bags.

small zip log bags.

2 grocery store plastic bags.(when I find a cache

is wet, I wrap it inone of these to help stop

the water)

6 3inch pencils to go in caches that need em.

4 pens

my own log to keep track of my day.

some replacement log books.

assortment of bandaids

cell phone

candy and crackers etc.

and some goodies to put in the caches.

so what am I missing?

Ha, I think it's really funny how often this thread comes up. Everyone wants to know what everyone else is carrying. Some people do carry a lot with them though.

 

I think what's really going on here is someone is trying to see who's worth muggin in the woods and who's not. I guess I'm one who's not.

As a single Dad with kids in tow, I carry a "sport bag". You know, that's what the cool Dad's carry these days. It holds all types of stuff, but most importantly, DIAPERS. So, it wouldn't be good to mug me in the woods...
