Dinoprophet
The other day, I opened up "Moominpappa at Sea", one of the wonderful Moomintroll books by Tove Jansson, and discovered this picture between the table of contents and the text: If you can't read the coordinates, they are 60° 7' 12" N 25° 45' 50" E That's southeast of Helsinki. When our whole family caches, we log as Finn Family Moomintroll. The books were originally written in Finnish in the 50s and the characters still exist today in cartoon form in other countries. They are great books, with recurring themes of exploration and nature -- perfect for geocachers, and this picture proves it! Any other Moomin fans here? Quote Link to comment
+JDan150
According to my world-map it is directly between Helsinki and St. Petersburg. 27 miles east of Helsinki and 158 miles west of St. Petersburg in the Gulf of Finland Quote Link to comment
