Phx - East Valley - Park In One Spot & Cache A Lot

I'm coming into PHX over labor day week and hope to get out to cache quite a bit.

 

I'm already planning a South Mountain hike, and did downtown Tempe last trip.

 

Are there any other great places with high cache densities that would make for good hikes in and about the east valley?

Arizona geocachers tend to read our listserv and not the forums so much. I will post a link to this thread on the listserv. Hopefully people will respond. Until then, Im trying to think of some good ones.

yeah maybe someone will respond and suggest the natural choice for a (cough) hike that being RTW-1 (I know names not GC's) but a much better density of caches being the ones in Usery Park, along the Wind Cave Trail. Then there are the few caches in the Bulldog Canyon area, The favorite being Grampa Abe's hidaway.

 

Further down the Road would be the caches placed along the Salt River actually enroute to RTW-1 placed by Team Evil Fish, Minesota Jack, Team Red Dog, Sport Trac, along with other cachers, provide a short hike and a interesting change of scenery.

 

These caches provide some challenges so read the logs to make your choice.
