+5¢
As a paying member I was wondering how much it would cost each paying member to help fix the slowdown on weekends to the site. 5 dollars 10 dollars. What is the magic number? I love this sport and find it quite annoying to not be able to log my finds on the weekends. To not be able to let fellow cache owners know that there is a problem with their caches. So my question was how much would it cost each member to pay to help correct this problem? When you answered yes to my question I found it to be smart alec in the least as I know you are an intellegent person who has moderated my post for doing the same. Matter of fact you have had my posts moderated before approval for some of the things I have said that have been taken out of context. I asked a simple question and got nothing but a smart alec answer from you and feel slighted at the least as what you have said to me in the past. For the record I have used an example and this is not a personal flame. I believe I have done my best to show respect in my response to your post. What is the magic number? I am a concerned geocacher who wants to help. Edited September 13, 2004 by krn187 Link to comment

By the way, your first question asked how much money it would take from each member Now you are asking : I was wondering how much it would cost each paying member to help fix the slowdown on weekends to the site. that is a different question, members vs paying members. what are you really trying to ask? No offense CO but you really are being a smart alec. It seems like a legit question to me. Is there some ulterior motive krn has that I don't know about? Link to comment
+CO Admin
None taken, I am only answering the question asked. I'm not a mind reader. Plus he changed the question. People should learn to ask the question they want asked. In my part of the country people always ask, "Do you know what time it is?" what they mean is "Would you tell me what time it is, please." Big difference. If I was answering the question he wasn't asking that would be different. Like "Would you tell me what time it is, please?" and I said "Yes, Purple" that would be wrong I'm just answering the question asked. As for: Is there some ulterior motive krn has that I don't know about? you will have to ask him. I'm not a mind reader Edited September 13, 2004 by CO Admin Link to comment
+IV_Warrior
OK, I'll ask the question(s) I think he wants answered. Do you know how much it would cost each paying member, to fix the weekend slowdow problem? If so, how much would that be? Link to comment

What is the magic number? I love this sport and find it quite annoying to not be able to log my finds on the weekends. Once you have the dollar amount you are looking for, what's next? Are you suggesting a mandatory raise in membership fees? I can live with logging my finds on weekdays, I haven't had that many lately. Link to comment

+JMBella
So if someone asks "Do you know what time it is?" Do you answer, "Yes" and walk away or do you say "Yes, it's 4:30" like people in all parts of the country do? So krn, do you have an ulterior motive? Link to comment

+planetrobert
I think this question falls under the privacy of the company and they as stated in the past DO NOT like to discuss financial information for the obvious reasons. I think co admin, is while driving krn crazy, is answering the question the only way possible by anybody but Jeremy. Also co admin could have not posted and then you would have criticized tptb for not posting here. deffinatly a lose lose situation. my 2 cents, take it or leave it. Link to comment
