You found it. But so did everyone ELSE on the CNN website. Is that a news crew in your front yard?

I wish I could win a prize for my Halloween Costume!

I wish this thread was on the first page.

Sure, but then we'd have to mock you for not scrolling all the way up the page to find out for yourself.

Now that I've found the perfect large cache container, I wish I had the enormous amount of swag to put in it.

Pfffooot! A djinni rises from the dust motes of your desk, floating above your keyboard and in front of your monitor - it raises a small, bony looking hand makes an intricate gesture and pauses for a biinnng! biinnng! pulls something from a sleeve, places it to its ear, listents for a moment, mumbles 'Lemme get back to you, on another call', tucks whatever it was away, finishes the gesture with a determined and exaggerated flourish and vanishes as the dust motes disperse.

You feel a sudden an overwhelming need to expound at incredible length about matierials, weaves, aglets, knots, wear pattern, fraying, etcetera. After a while you are picked up by the galactic police and placed in a cell next to someone who by all accounts seems to be telling the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth (some of which is pretty ghastly, but, alas, you just cannot cease your dissertation on aglet binding methods.

At some point the person in the next cell stops talking and some visitors appear to stop by and you hear something about a message at something something 'Plural Z Alpha. But you keep on going as there still so much about shaping and how various fibres hold a knot...

I wish for a carrot.

Your wish is granted! On a caching trip you find a forked stick in a wet smelly ditch which will point you to random micro geocaches (thousands of miles away) in other wet smelly ditches. It doesn't work on caches within 500 miles or so.

I wish the weather here were right for me to wear my new dress out today.

 (Now I fit in around here at last!)

Your wish is granted, you may be King of a particularly nice small rocky outcrop situated off the North coast of Iceland on November 8th 2195 (all day)! This offer is subject to conditional change, is only available to the recipient 'TheAlabamaRambler' and only if alive and he must be naked to be king of this rock kingdom for the day. Transport will not be provided as part of the wish and it is not transferable. :D

I wish for myself and my close family and friends to be wise, healthy, rich and happy for the rest our my long lives.

Alakazam! Except that in the interest of eco-friendliness (it's Earth Day tomorrow!) you must all morph together into one huge body with 17 heads.

Congratulations! You were selected to become a Groundspeak Volunteer Cache Reviewer. Unfortunately you denied the listing of a film can cache in a muddy ditch alongside an Interstate and the crazed would-be cache owner chased you down and beat your head on the sidewalk. I hope that you make a recovery, but for now and the foreseeable future you are lost in a coma and being fed whirled peas through a feeding tube.

Abracadabra, your wish has been granted. The company goes bust, your boss retires, managing to defraud the shareholders of all he can get hold of, pinning the blame on you. You get a 12 year stretch.

I wish I didn't have to work on weekends.

ShazzzAM! Flying monkeys now exist! They only fly when they need to drop something on someone from a great height and you have your very own flying monkey who marks you every time (s)he needs to....(Excuse me I think I hear the doorbell).

I wish the travelling salesmen, charity workers, religious advertisers and hawkers only knocked on the door of our house when we are all out.

Poof done! You are the ONLY one who gets a good grade - everyone else has the IQ of a drunk gerbil. This leads the examiners assume that the tests were extremely hard and you must have cheated. They give passing "pity" marks to everyone but you.

Oh man, I wish I wasn't getting sick with a cold right now.

*Kerching!*

Your wish is granted.

That weekend will be warm and sunny for everyone else. The "partly cloudy" bit will be your own personal cloud which will appear on schedule every time you go outdoors and ensure that you are always under its little grey shadow while everyone else slaps on the sun lotion and their funky shades.

I wish our cats could vacuum up their own cat fluff.

Awesome! You awake to find there is no longer A tent, but hundreds of tents full of rednecks with lots of guns and they fire them off like firecrackers all day and into the night.

I wish I could regain my trust in the tptb.
