jcat67
There is a TB hotel not far from where I live that has 3 TB's that have been in place for a month or so. I am headed out of state and wanted to give a couple a ride. The hotel says the rule is drop one to pick up one. If I had one "stuck" I would like it to travel whether someone traded or not. Is this a "house" rule or just a local one? If it is local I might try and email the owner of the hotel to see if I can move some along. Just curious. Quote Link to comment
+BlueDeuce
You are not obligated to follow the one for one trading rules, however the owner does have the right to delete your found it log. If you like, you can refer the cache owner to this thread and we'll discuss what right he has to place travel restrictions on my travel bug. Quote Link to comment

I just didn't want the geocache police to get me. Quote Link to comment
+BlueDeuce
Well, the local cache cop might complain a little but personally I go out of my way to liberate bugs from travel bug prisons. Let us know if you run into any issues. Move them bugs! Edited October 14, 2008 by BlueDeuce Quote Link to comment
+Eartha
The goal of the TB supercedes the cache "rules". Search these forums for the key word "Prison" and you'll see why hotels with restrictions are often called a "TB Prison". (While you are in the TB forums, use the search box on the bottom left of the page) Quote Link to comment
