+Jhwk
And we find a new Hobby/Sport/Addiction. Actually, this comes up every few weeks/months. I think the last time Jeremy et al said they would basically add another letter/number - so GCZZZZ1 - and off we go again. Sure someone has the linky around here... +welch
I think we'll have to start using www.geocachingII.com Seriously, follow the links. Quote Link to comment
+sbell111
...Seriously, the worse that will happen is a digit will be appended to the end. Yes, many older GPS units have a 6 character limit, but the GC is just prepended to the front of the number anyway so it can be stripped for older units and added back for lookups. linkie Edited June 20, 2006 by sbell111 Quote Link to comment

GC11111 if you really want to get technical. (I don't think GC numbers use 0's - they look too much like O's) Edited June 20, 2006 by alexrudd Quote Link to comment

Zeroes are used, but the letter O is not. If you are interested, I have made an online tool that will show you the waypoints for given cache numbers and vice-versa. Quote Link to comment
